Procedure

  1. ⚠️ When you begin this process, inform your staff to STOP ENTERING DATA in your old software. Anything they enter will be lost!

  2. Email ChildPlus to request your database backup.

    If you want, you can use the following template:

  3. ChildPlus will email you with a password-protected URL.

    Forward this email to [email protected] OR download the backup and send it to us with another secure channel.

We will notify you when your data transfer is complete.

At that time, you and your Accounting POCs will also receive your invoice.

2 Options for Data Transfer

Essential (Strongly Recommended)

The Essentials data transfer includes the current year’s child, family, and staff demographics. 🐇It takes 1-3 days.

After you complete the transfer, your staff will manually enter the rest of the data into GoEngage.

We strongly recommend this route because:

  1. You will get a fresh start with clean, accurate data.
  2. Your staff will get comfortable with entering data into a new platform.

Cost = $500. We provide 100% in-kind ($500 value), so the total cost is $0.

Complex

The Complex data transfer includes all historical data, except attachments. 🐢It takes 5-7 days for the initial import, and then 2-6 weeks for quality assurance (back-and-forth between our team and yours).

Cost = $6,000.
