Use the Daily Journal task to send parents updates about their children throughout the day.

Add an event

1. Click the Add event button.

   

2. Select the event type.

3. Enter the event name.

   

4. GoEngage auto-populates the current time. You can edit if you want.

   

5. If you took a photo of the event, upload the photo to share with the parents.

   

6. Enter a description of the event.

   

7. Select the children who participated in the event. This will produce a group communication to all the parents. Click the Post event button to share with Mom and Dad.

   

Note on Medication events

For the Medication event, the child needs to have a medication listed. You can do so in My Health Workbook > gray medical folder icon > Medications or Family Directory > Health > Health Events > Medications.

Explore journal entries

a. Select the center/classroom you want to view and/or enter in events for.

b. Refresh you page

c. View the history of and event

d. Filter by specific kiddo
